He received his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston, where he was a decorated member of the nationally renowned Advocacy Program. During his law school advocacy career, Johnny won first place honors while earning Best Oralist and Best Brief awards in the Spurgeon Bell Moot Court Competition. He also was a semifinalist in both the National Veterans Law Moot Court Competition in Washington, D.C. and the William E. McGee National Civil Rights Moot Court Competition in Minneapolis, Minnesota.\n\nJohnny is licensed to practice law in Texas as well as the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
